This follows the same logic as discussions on race.
An example: If I tell you that North American Natives differentiated between "real Whites" and others. The real whites were of French origins, the others were the Yankees, but let's leave the details to another investigation (link to "Why are/were the French colons called the "real whites" by Native Americans?").
You will probably be curious to know why the French, who mostly survive in Quebec, today, were not seen as genocidal to the Indians.
You won't perhaps realize that you are entering in a forbidden rhetoric, a racist rhetoric. You are stating or taking for granted, that the 3 centuries of English and American domination that followed the century of French domination were essentially different because the Anglo worldview, this race's view, is necessarily wicked.
