Better to have comments on the talk page, right? I suggest move the recent message you received to this (talk) page. We should create a category, such as "policies" (i.e. policies/discussions =>"please put your comments macro on your talk page, not on your userpage", policies/whatever), where all these practical things would be available.
2009-08-31 15:44:04 Do you understand how css classes work? As in how a <table class="bigquote"><tr><td>"We saw them running toward the woods"</td></tr></table> would render and how to format it? If so, it's pretty easy. The reason there isn't much documentation on it is because we try to keep everything very very simple, and anything with the prerequisite of an understanding of css isn't exactly simple. If you do understand how that works (looking at your wiki, it seems you do), it's quite easy. If you don't understand CSS and it is really important to you and you would like to invest the time into learning css, I can point you to a few good books and/or websites. Just let me know your skill level, and I'll provide an understandable guide to what you're looking to do. —

2009-09-04 23:18:58 Thanks Jaberwokky, I should say, oops! Red faces and not only on gnomes... I did not spot this until now. But then I was looking on my talk page - naughty gnomes writing on this page! Do we carry on the query here, next door (talk page) - or back at Gnome HQ - I prefer? —NormanNitram
