Norman Nitram
Hi all,
I'm a US philosopher and tennis bum! My wife is called Sarah, but I won't embarrass her here with any more details.
I specialise in moral philosophy — reasons for action. Studied for a PhD for three or four years, but eventually it took twenty years to get it in shape! (Any publishers out there, please contact me here.)
That was started back a while now, 1968! This is me at the time…
Nowadays, my particular interests are old-time tennis (up until about the start of the Open Era in 1968), some branches of science fiction, and an eclectic selection of baseball heroes.
Strategies on Philosophical investigations
My tip about being a PI member — it's better to take the long view. Something I do when I'm very frustrated with an article - which is pretty often! - is I just take it off my watchlist for a couple of months (or, at least, this is what I do when I'm being rational, which is increasingly rare!). Then, when I go back, most of the edit warriors have gotten bored and moved on. That only works with non-contentious articles, though.
